Not In Our Strength But His Sunday, January 4, 2009 – 10:46 AM

Covered by the shadow of His wings, His heart song for you, to be the Light He brings, covered in the fortress of His mighty love and strength, oh He will set your feet to dancing, and make your feet as hinds feet, He will give you the power to leap over high things, He will give you the courage that you need, Oh look up for Your redeemer is your strength. You are a city set on a hill, high and lifted up, for He is the lifter of thine head. He will give you the grace, the love, and the mercy to face the enemy head on, Oh My child be ever so courageous and strong!

He’s the symphony of the orchestrated strings, He’s the melody of the heart, that truly rings, He’s the amazement of a miracle, He is your source, and strength, the way maker, of every appointed destiny, and
dream, He rides upon the wings of the wind, He’s the fire, and the breath of life, He is the flame, that ignites,
a spark of life, He can make you powerful, in the power of His might.

Without Him we are nothing, we are limited in our strength, He undergirds us with eagles wings,
We cannot comprehend, or fathom, His wonderous ways, but we know that it’s His limitless love, that
gives us everything, rise up, and declare His ways, there’s nothing impossible, nothing incomplete, when
we walk with Jesus, and He will raise us to rise above defeat!

Stir It Up!

Stir up the gift that is within thee, the Word of God is never bound, He has not given us a spirit of fear, but faith, grounded, should be found, power, and love, and a sound mind, the enemy can try and trick us, but the power in the blood, and the power of the Word, can stop all the firey darts, that are ever hurled.

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways, but when we put on the full armor of God, and we stand in the power of His might, we can begin to see, the enemy take flight!

Oh weary warrior, do not let the enemy defeat you, do not let him take your ground, do not let him steal your peace, and joy, for there really is a victory to be found, look to Me, and I can show you, how to walk with Me again, no weapon formed against you, My child,  My love for you is so deep, don’t let the enemy stop you, for I am waiting just for thee.

Winter’s Wish

Winter’s wish upon this night, crystal skies, twinkle with stars delight, Oh the desires of my heart, only the Father knows, all the intricate workings of my thoughts, placed deep within, for He’s placed each one, carefully, and deeply, marching to a silent drum, awaken my thoughts, of what’s to come.Silent anticipation, like a dream on the tip of my tongue, always there, but not coming to pass, but soon it will come, it will not tarry, it is only hidden for a season, the Father’s timing. Ahh… these things that fill my heart of all I long to do, I sigh as I wait, till I bid Your Ado.Oh God I anticipate with my mortal dreams, but You alone, have far bigger dreams, so I await in silent expectations of all You’ve dreamed for me, and one day this beauty, that only You, could fashion, will come to pass, and the mold that You have made will come through like fire, pure like gold, Your plans oh God, Your plans will unfold. The angels long to look, into the things we know, they can never sing, the songs of salvation, created by God, they were made to worship, and praise, the Almighty King,  voices, day  and night, eternally ring.

Sent to herald messages, sent to do battle, sent to bring glad tidings, to all of God’s children, rejoicing in the King of kings, and Lord of lords, these angels created by God.

Oh they worship day and night,  crying Holy, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain,  writer’s, messengers, singer’s in the heavenly portal’s, but they can never sing, the songs that we sing,  but day and night, always and forever, praising our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,  our King!

Thinking On Being Thankful In All Things
We need to think about the things we are thankful for because when we count our blessings then the circumstances we live in won’t seem so bad. A good sister in the Lord and dear friend of mine reminded me of this today. She said the Apostle Paul said I’ve learned whatever state I am in I’ve learned to be content. In the book of Philippians chapter 4 verses ll-12 11: Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith, to be content. verse 12: I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. In 1Timothy 6:6 it says Godliness with contentment is great gain. So why do we fret over things and worry. For to worry is a sin. Jesus told His diciples not to worry about anything, that tommorrow would take care of itself. I am praying that as I am teaching this lesson here that God will show me that I need never get into worry anymore, nor fear tommorrow for He has promised to meet all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. When we are truly looking to Him we can be thankful and cast all of our cares on Him. The beautiful gift of praise and thanks will lift us from our troubles and stop the enemy from bringing on fear. I pray this will minister to your hearts as we think upon good things and offer a praise of thanks to our Lord. God bless you all. Lisa

HE CAN! Wednesday, October 17, 2007 – 6:51 AM
He can drape the skies in darkness, veil the moon, in wispy clouds, He can make the stars shine so brightly, only He can send shower’s or dry up the lands, He is the King of Glory, the Great I AM, He has the power to give or lend a helping hand. He is the Creator of all, He is the One, Who sends or defends, He is the One, Who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, He has the power to fulfill. He knows the beginning and the end, He promotes, and demotes, all men. He sets up the times and the seasons, His Word can shatter the powers of darkness, destroying all the works of the enemy. They didn’t know this King of Glory, for had they known, they would have bowed to Him, Oh, He alone deserves all the honor, and the praise, worthy to be loved, worthy to be feared, to stand in awe of Him, this magnificent Creator, this wonderous God, Who sits on the throne, where angels cry day and night, Holy, Holy, Holy, Worthy, is the Lamb, the Word made flesh, worship Him alone. Unseen Presence Unseen Hands
When God has called and you can’t see, what it is that you are called to be, when you feel as if what you do is for naught, get quiet before the Lord, and He will speak, and give, what you have sought.

Just because there are no glaring neon signs, to mark out what you’ve done, nor accolades of praise, doesn’t mean your work is left, as dust in the wind,  with futility, or no purpose, in the end.

For there is an unseen presence, unseen hands, that prepare the ground, the seed that is nurtured, when given to Him,  placed in heart’s that you may not know, who it’s touched, fragrant winds that blow the seed, and land and produce, a great ministry.

Be the unseen presence in a world of hurt and pain, be the unseen hands, that minister, life and  truth, and love,  mercy and acceptance, from the Father above, for when you give it all to Him, He plants, and water’s and gives the increase, for He is the unseen presence, and unseen hands, and He holds the purpose, and He holds the plans.

Today My Well Is Dry
Lord sometimes we get so weary in well doing, but You say that there is refreshing in Your presence, sometimes Lord we just don’t know what to do next, sometimes all we can do is sit, and wait, and believe, and trust, and hope.  Father Your Word is chalked full of promises.

Oh weary soul, fail not, look to your Redeemer, lift up your eyes to the hills from whence thou comes, Oh weary soul, be not disheartened for I am here and My will shall be done.

We never know where a door will be opened, we never know what lies, ahead, but dear one, and greatly beloved, I see all, and have so much planned, and I have fed.

Father, Your mercy endures forever, Your Love unfolds, and blankets me in warmth, I bask in the warmth of Your love, and it cradles me, Oh Father, You came, to set us free.

My child I love thee with an everlasting love, Your well will never run dry, when You seek My face, walk out into the deeper water’s, and hold on, for your times are in my hands, I know all, and I greatly understand.

Precious Holy Spirit, Precious Rain, You so greatly bless, and pour down the showers of blessings, the showers of blessings, barren fields, are no longer barren, when You pour down, Your precious Holy Rain.  And I feel Your presence, in the midst of trials, and pain, I feel Your presence, when one sinner,  repents, and gains, Your blessings, of eternal life.  Precious Holy Spirit, revive our heart’s, draw us ever closer to Thee, Precious Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, renew our minds, with thoughts of You, every day, ever mindful of Your mercy, ever mindful of Your Love, and Grace, we never could be anything without You, Oh God, Precious Holy Spirit, Holy Rain, I give You all my Love, and thankful heart of praise, ever to be faithful, and mindful of You, today.  Lisa Beth Jenkins c.2007 All Rights Reserved

Damascus Road Friday, September 28, 2007 – 7:40 PM
The Light shining so brightly out of the sky, men gathered round to see, but one man, was down on his knees crying, “Who are you Lord?” “I am Jesus” blinded by this light, the men saw the light but didn’t hear the Voice, only one man, a man with a choice.”Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?” fear and trembling, blinded by this Light, the light, “What was this Light?” three days, this man could not see, but then one was sent to open his eyes, anointed by the Spirit of God, Saul, the one that persecuted the saints, now wholly given over to the One he mocked, and blamed, now set free of all his sins and pain.

Nothing is too big, or overpowering for our God, nothing can stop the washing away of sins, if you want a powerful encounter with the Lord above, come to your Damascus Road experience, and give your all to Him, come, He will set you free, and deliver you from all sin, not only a new life, but a new name, as well, this man called Saul, now Paul, who gave his life to Him.
